Its not just rogue (anti-union) companies that cheat workers. I worked for Kroger Grocer for a short time & was forced to do so much stock in under a 40 hr week. If I tried to take my time a bit & got even 1 HR of OT in a week I was reprimanded for having 41 HRS. However my more sr union co workers were offered OT on a senority basis. Since most had been with the company over 9 yrs they didnt have the OT limitation. So i pretty much had to do the same amount of work they did only in 40 hrs. Of course Kroger fired me 3 DAYS before I was due to be off probation & in the union. Of course it was at 3 am when no public transit was running & they refused to let the union rep drive me home. Also they forced me to leave the store & walk home before they called the police. So low wage workers do get kicked around. I have sence went to college & got a better union job

Yeah, it’s a sad day in boxing for sure. That second Pryor fight was one of the best ever – too bad he lost though.
